Bird and Trout knife

... and wallabys and goats.  Dont let the style of knife limit you to what you use it for.  It will make a very nice EDC too.  

I love the design of this small game knife.  3 inch blade, with a nice swedge at the tip that reduces weight, but still gives you a drop point knife.  Total knife length is 18cm for the shorty, 20cm for the longer one.

• AEBL Stainless steel or 15n20 High Carbon steel.
• Handles can be wood, or synthetic.
• Price between $200-250 NZD, depending on materials and decorative work.

I have wanted to make a Bird and Trout knife for a long time, and I am not disappointed with what I have made !  I plan to make more stainless steel ones that High Carbon.. the "trout" bit warrants the corrosion resistance.  And although acrylic handles are beautiful, I feel it is a bit slippery near water.
